How it works

From a scary invoice to a decision you can defend, in about five minutes.

  1. Describe the vehicle and the quote

Model, year, mileage, warranty status, repair type and the dollar figure on your estimate. No VIN, no credit pull.

  2. Get your Repair Grade

Our scoring model weighs the quote against estimated resale value, mileage, age, coverage and repair category, then returns a grade from A to F with a score out of 100.

  3. Read the repair-vs-replace call

Some repairs protect equity; others burn it. We tell you plainly which side of the line your quote sits on and when a second estimate is worth the phone call.

  4. Weigh the cost against your vehicle

See the cost-to-value ratio and what the repair means for your ownership — so you know whether the work is worth it before you commit.

  5. Find a repair shop

Connect with a qualified, independent repair specialist near you to get the work done — or a second quote if your estimate looks high.
